Cru Uncorked welcomes visitors into a spectacular chateau in the Parisian countryside, except that it is actually located in Moreland Hills (at 34300 Chagrin Blvd.) This beautiful restaurant offers a fine dining experience featuring sophisticated French New American cuisine and a vast wine selection presented in an atmosphere of understated and relaxed elegance. The result is extremely welcoming and approachable. Cru Uncorked includes four themed dining areas and a lounge, plus space for private parties and corporate events. Featuring a menu distinct from the dining room, the lounge is open to everyone, with no reservations needed. Guests who visit Cru Uncorked for everyday dining, as well as those who come for special wine-tasting or other events, will discover a kitchen that makes everything from scratch in house, for a menu that that is revised seasonally and features local products. Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, visitors will find special promotions with great deals on entrees and wine, plus happy-hour selections on Thursdays. Or, try the three-course set menu with wine pairings for each course, for $120-$170 for two. For reservations at the Cru Uncorked New Year’s Eve dinner, featuring a special a la carte menu, call 440-903-1171, or make reservations online at CruUncorked.com. The website also includes a calendar of wine-tasting events, and more. Since last fall, Tom Lutz, founder of Game Keepers, has served as GM for Cru Uncorked.
